On 14 January 2026, the teaching staff of the college visited the AlmaU AI Centre.
The Artificial Intelligence Laboratory serves to develop a new approach to the implementation of modern technologies, where artificial intelligence should work for the benefit of society, through the implementation of the «Tolyq AI» project, based on Abay’s philosophy «Tolyq Adam».
Leading university experts presented the HOLISTIC MINDSET: TOLYQ ADAM IN ACTION programme, which is aimed at comprehensive personal development. The meeting covered the key areas of the programme, including critical thinking and creative writing, community service, life design, research approach, philosophical dialogue, great books, biohacking and others. Particular attention was paid to issues of artificial intelligence in education, as well as the development of critical and creative thinking. College teachers were shown the OQULABS educational platform. At the end of the meeting, the teachers completed a practical assignment and jointly created the ALMA TREE, reflecting the main ideas and values of the college.
The visit included a tour of the university’s interactive lecture halls and laboratories, creative areas and centres, and the university library’s depositories.
The meeting was an important step in forming a unified professional community, developing modern education, and shaping the college’s values.
